DO NOT Drink the Water in Mexico
We have all heard the rumors of the undrinkable water in Mexico, but it is true! The tap water is not safe to drink, and because of this, you will need to find bottled water to drink water.
Many hotels offer water-purifying stations and other means of safe drinking water, but make sure that you don’t drink the tap water no matter where you are in Mexico.
Mayan Ruins
When visiting Mexico, one of the most exciting things to do is to visit the Mayan Ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula. When visiting Cozumel, you have the choices to see Chichen Itza, Tulum or Coba Mayan ruins.
Ruins are what are left over from man made structures or cities. Over time, these structures that were once livable or functional are now remains of what were destroyed.
The ancient city of Chichen Itza is also known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Mondern World. Tulum ruins were built by the sea which gives you a chance to go swimming when you visit. Coba which is located in the jungle holds the highest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula.
